The Dallas Youth Volunteer Association (DYVA) was founded in 2006 by students of the Dallas Modern Chinese Language School (DMCLS). It provides the high school students around the DFW area with volunteer opportunities to give back to the community and build leadership skills. DYVA is a service organization dedicated to helping others. DYVA has been participating in a variety of activities like our annual Sunray Retired Home visit, weekly Collin Oaks living assistant center lunch service and holiday performance, CIE Math Competition, ACP MetroCon, VEX Robotics Competition and more. You can find pictures of our events by clicking Events to access our gallery.
Currently, DYVA is sponsored by NTCCPA (North Texas Chinese Culture Promotion Association) and Texas Instruments. It is open to the whole Dallas youth community. DYVA is a small but growing volunteer group, so it is always looking for new members.
